If you keep up with my blog, you may remember reading that I bought a foundation around August time and I thought it was one of the culprits which made me have a really bad allergic skin reaction.
In October, Tarte Cosmetics was having a few offers on for their birthday, for a week, each day they had a different offer for 24 hours only. For example, one day they'd have free shipping, the next, they would have some items on sale for however many % off. These are the items my friend and I managed to pick up during the sale.
It's been a while since I've done a "holy grail" product post, the last time I did one was right at the beginning of my blogging journey in 2015! Today's post is a good one, believe me!
Woah.. It's almost been a month since I last posted! I rediscovered Sims 4 and it might have taken over my life literally.. But I'm back with this new review of Ardell lashes. It's also my very first "PR" package hoorahhh! (Well.. I think this is what it's called, correct me if I'm wrong though please.) The lovely Jodie over at falseeyelashes.co.uk* ever so kindly contacted me and asked if I wanted to try some Ardell lashes for me to review on my blog, and of course I said yes!
Recently my skin hasn't been in the best condition, especially after the allergic reaction I had in August, which made my skin extremely itchy, dry/flaky, and bumpy. I narrowed it down to two possibilities, either from eating peaches (I'm mildly allergic to fruits, but some more than others), or trying a new foundation. I think it was the peaches as I've used the foundation a few times afterwards and my skin was fine.
*Please note, I had another entry I wanted to post first, this is why this post is released late. It is most likely that Birchbox will no longer have this September box available*
My friend - who would like to be called "Hello Kitty" for the purpose of this post - bought this BIRCHBOX x OLIVER BONAS beauty box as they had an offer on for 50% off, she said that it would be a good idea to include a blogpost on it. So with her permission here I am showing you what's in the September edition of Birchbox.
From my recent posts being mainly hauls I think you can guess I've been trying and buying lots of new products lately! And I really wanted to share my favourites with you all!
I'm actually debating on whether to call this "current" or *insert month* favourites, as I don't actually try out or buy new things regularly..I either don't post for ages and when I do, it's a hella lengthy post, there is no in between haha.. So grab yourself a drink and some snacks and we shall beginnnn 😄!
The "What's in my bag?" tag has been floating around the blogging and YouTube world for a while now, it's a tag that many revisits every time they get a new bag in their life. So I'm hopping on to this tag train and maybe I'll revisit it again when I get a new bag in the future!
I'm back with another post and haven't disappeared, surprised? hahaha!
In the month of August I did a lot of shopping as mentioned in the previous post. Most of these items were bought throughout August and not all in one day, they were also purchased in the sales or at discounted prices unless stated otherwise. I will try my best to find a link to each item so you can purchase them yourselves too if you want to get your hands on them.
So.. I kind of did my disappearing act again, where I say I'm back to blogging regularly, then I release one post, and POOF! Vanish off into thin air.
Every contour kit (drugstore) I've ever bought and used in the past has always come off too warm on me, or the undertone is too red for my skintone. So recently I've been on the hunt for a new contour kit, I've been eyeing up the Missha Touch On palette after watching the Korean makeup artist, Pony, use it in one of her makeup tutorials on YouTube.
Hey! Hi! Hello! Remember me?
It's almost been a year since my last update, if I remember correctly I said I would keep up with this blog.. looks like I lied, sorry! Not intentionally though, I promise! So here's what I've been up to this past year:
